Prof. Vlad Tica is Chairman of the Department of Gynecology at “Ovidius” University of Constanța, Romania, where he combines clinical leadership with academic teaching and research. He has built a career dedicated to women’s health, medical education, and advancing obstetric and gynecologic practice.

Prof. Tica has trained medical students and residents for many years, supervising theses and guiding young physicians in both clinical and research settings. His academic contributions include publications in books, peer-reviewed journals on obstetrics and gynecology, participation in international conferences, and involvement in international academies, societies and collaborative research projects.

Besides being a ISGE Recognized Surgeon. Prof. Tica is a licensed Psychotherapist, Licensed NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master & Integrative Counselor, as well as international trainer in leadership and soft skills.

Within NESA, Prof. Tica contributes to international workshops, educational initiatives, and the dissemination of simplified, evidence-based surgical techniques. Prof. Tica is also in charge of the Junior NESA, where his teaching is adding knowledge to students in their clinical years, and surgeons in training. His experience in both clinical practice and academic administration enables him to support NESA’s programs in ways that align with local healthcare needs and broader global standards.

Through his combined roles as educator, clinician, and board member, Prof. Tica strengthens NESA’s reach in Europe and Africa, where he regularly participates in NESA’s surgical workshops, and contributes to its international mission of improving women’s health through rational, standardized surgery.
