Prof. Dr. Werner Seebauer studied human medicine at the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and nutritional sciences at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen. He was a pediatrician at the University Hospital in Frankfurt a.M. for 10 years and worked mainly in pulmonology, immunology and neonatology (premature infant intensive care unit). He is one of the leading experts in preventive medicine, nutrition and better aging medicine.
He used to head the Institute for Health Prevention, Nutritional Sciences and Better Aging Medicine in Swiss, focusing on integrative strategies to reduce biological aging and strengthen the immune system. In the past, he also worked in prevention education in cooperation for the German Cancer Society (Dr. Beck Prevention Section). His scientific work deals with nutritional therapy, oxidative stress, biological regulation and personalized prevention. He is a member of the German Association Physicians (national sports squad) and co-editor of the academic book for sports nutrition of the Society for Sports Nutrition of Austria.
Prof. Seebauer has held academic and teaching roles at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) and serves as Head of Preventive Medicine section at the NESA and ISBA (University of Cooperative Education, Freiburg).
His applied research includes the evaluation of risk parameters, vital substance analyses and prevention programs for the long-term optimization of health. He is the author of numerous publications (mainly teaching material for universities and institutions such as the Professional Association of Preparalogists) and participates in international initiatives for health promotion and prevention management.
Through his expertise, Prof. Seebauer strengthens NESA’s interdisciplinary scope, ensuring that prevention and healthy aging are integrated alongside surgical and oncological innovation.
