The Natural Orifice Surgery / Scarless operations (NOS / SLO) working group had its first meeting in Berlin, Germany.

January 10-11, 2008

Michael Stark and George Peltecu took part as advisors in the WHO conference 'Safe Surgery Saves Lives', which took place in Geneva, Switzerland. The NESA participates in the formulation and distribution of a surgical checklist that will contribute to the safety of surgery.

The NESA has signed a Letter of Endorsements, showing herewith its support of the creation of the Safe Surgery Saves Lives Project by the WHO World Alliance of Patient Safety.

January 10-11, 2008

The NESA participated in the launching of the WHO checklist in Washington.

December 12, 2008

During the SOGOG 2008 and 1st National Congress on Evidence Based Ob/Gyn Practices, Michael Stark delivered the Silver Jubilee Oration. The conference was hosted by the Ahmedabad Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society.

The NESA was invited to conduct the conference- The delivery room in the 21st century – humanity and security.

March 4, 2011

The NESA conducted a surgical course in Wroclaw, Poland.

May 30, 2011

Michel Odent, London, and Michael Stark conducted a seminar in Taranto, Italy, concerning quality in obstetrics and gynaecology.

June, 2012

The NESA, in cooperation with FIGO and MedicalAidFilms, conducted a surgical and ultrasound course at the Yalgado Ouedragogo hospital in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
