Eytan R. Barnea, MD FACOG is internationally recognized, awarded investigator in early pregnancy translational research with implications to patient treatment.

NESA board member and scientific advisor. Dr. Barnea dedicated his career to helping patients.

Practicing clinician for the past 40 years.

ACOG double board certified (Ob&Gyn & Repro/Endo).

Yale University-trained.

Directed for ~20 years Ob&Gyn at CAMcare.

Currently Senior Consultant, fertility, endocrine and menopause. Voluntary Associate Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Co-founded BioIncept – translating the PreImplantation Factor (PIF) he discovered/develops from research to clinical use. Founded SIEP (The Society for the Investigation of Early Pregnancy), not-for-profit academic society.

Selected awards: Elkeles Prize ‘Scientist-of-the-Year’ Israel Health Ministry (1989). Kyril Bratanov medal for contributing to Reproductive Immunology (2012)

Co-authored ~275 manuscripts and chapters; The Lancet, Nature / CDD, PNAS, PloS one, Oncotarget, AJOG, IJGO. Initiated (co-edited) 4 specialty textbooks including Embryonal Medicine and Therapy with Robert Edwards (Oxford).

Three-time elected FIGO committee member. Currently WRA – Women at Reproductive age (2024).

Presented FIGO’s opening plenary lecture (2018), initiated /authored >30 FIGO mission-statements. Participates in setting world-wide FIGO Good Clinical Practice Recommendations.

Created/Develops the Prep-2-Labor score/app a simple-to-use universal Y/N TRIAGE to flag-out HIGH-RISK pregnancies for urgent care, from low risk pregnancies
